Purpose: The MenuOfFinderIcons form allows a popup menu or application menu to display a palette of Finder (desktop) icons. Usage: Import the icons directly from files on the desktop. (FaceSpan automatically imports all the small and black & white icons associated with the file’s desktop icon.) Set the entries of the menu to the ID numbers of the icons you wish to display in the menu. Although the Artwork view of the project window displays the “ICN#” icons, the menu actually displays the small icons associated with them. Set the format (popups only) to the number of columns that you would like the palette to have. If the format is empty or is not a number, FaceSpan makes the palette rectangular, generally taller than it is wide. An application menu’s form property can be assigned only while the application is running; it is not retained when the application stops. Example: The contents of a popup menu that displays four desktop icons might look like this: 5132 5047 5005 5011
